Three
cozy cabins are fully furnished and are decorated in the rustic tradition
of the Adirondacks. Dishes and untensils are provided. Guests may enjoy
more than one thousand volumes of literature of a variety of interests
ranging from contemporary novels by authors such as Tom Wolfe, to the
contemplative writings of Thomas Aquinas, as well as a variety of games
and recreational activities. The beds in the three cabins sleep eleven.
Guests may also sleep on the two couches, or in sleeping bags on the floor,
and may even camp on the grounds.
Enjoy
al fresco meals lakeside and relaxation on the cabin decks.
Sleep soundly after days filled with the enjoyment of nature.
Arrive with no more than a toiletry
kit, dungarees, a flannel shirt, and the anticipation of a spectacular
visit. Nothing more is needed for your visit to Shangri-La in the Adirondacks.
Marvel at the of sensory delights
that evenings bring. Sapphire waters mirroring trees that vary in color
from yellow, gold, to crimson and every shade of green; the flickering
of magical fireflies; and the rich forest scents.
THE MAIN CABIN
The Main Cabin has a full kitchen and a three-quarter bath with shower.
The large living and dining area are adjacent to the charming, fully appointed
kitchen. The bedroom has twin beds and an enclosed sleeping porch. The
view of the lake, mountains and forest can be enjoyed from two decks,
one of which is adjacent to the living room, and one to the sleeping porch.
THE
GUEST CABIN
The fully equipped
Guest Cabin kitchen is furnished with a refrigerator, an electric counter-top
broiler, microwave oven and electric coffee maker. There are two bedrooms
upstairs which share a three-quarter bath, with shower. The comfortable
living room is adjacent to the dining area which faces the main pond and
mountains.
THE
BUNKHOUSE CABIN
The Bunkhouse Cabin
is situated between the Main Cabin and the Guesthouse Cabin. The Bunkhouse
Cabin has twin beds and a wash basin. |
